Company Hosts First 'Say Yes to the Prom' for Well-Deserving Teens

On April 10, 2012, Discovery Communications hosted its first 'Say Yes to the Prom' event, aimed at building courage, instilling confidence and improving self-image among high school-aged girls.

The annual initiative kicks off after the New Year with a national prom dress donation drive, followed by an invitation to local girls and boys for a day of shopping and head-to-toe pampering to get them ready for a prom night they will never forget.
